Product Safety & Compliance

At Little Bird Told Me, we pour love and care into every toy we create – because we believe in making magical products that spark joy and stand the test of time.

We don’t just meet expectations – we aim to exceed them. That’s why each toy is thoughtfully designed for interactive fun, then rigorously tested to meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Before reaching your little one, every product undergoes:

  • A detailed in-house safety assessment

  • Independent lab testing to ensure full compliance with all relevant toy safety standards

You can rest easy knowing our toys are as safe as they are special.

UK & EU Compliance

EN 71 is harmonised across the UK and EU under the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC. This means all toys must be tested and compliant with the applicable EN 71 standards.

All Little Bird Told Me products:

  • Meet EN 71 safety standards

  • Carry both the CE and UKCA markings, confirming they meet required safety criteria for the UK and EU markets
