Placing an Order

  • Orders are confirmed by email once accepted – this forms our contract with you.
  • All customers will receive an order confirmation email containing the details of their purchase. If you do not see this email in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder.
  • If you still have not received a confirmation, please contact us, as there may have been a spelling error in the email address provided at checkout.
  • We reserve the right to change these terms from time to time; the version in effect at the time you order applies.
  • All orders are subject to availability. If something you’ve ordered isn’t in stock, we’ll offer an alternative or let you cancel part or all of the order.

Creating an Account

  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date personal information.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure.
  • We may suspend access to your account if it’s misused or inaccurate.

Prices & Payments

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£).
  • Any bank charges related to international payments are your responsibility.
  • Payment must be made in full before your order is despatched.

Pre-orders

  • If you’ve ordered a product on pre-order, we’ll send it out as soon as it is back in stock.
  • If your order includes both in-stock items and pre-order items, we may wait until everything is ready before despatching your order in one go.
  • If you’d prefer to receive the in-stock items sooner, please contact us and we’ll see if we can help.

Delivery

  • Orders are delivered by a trusted courier to the address provided at checkout.
  • If the courier can’t deliver, they may leave it with a neighbour, concierge, or at a pickup point.
  • A photo of your delivery address may be taken for verification purposes only.
  • If delivery fails after two attempts, the parcel may be returned to us and you’ll be refunded minus return postage cost.
  • Your contact details may be shared with the courier for delivery notifications.
  • Please ensure that you provide the correct address. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the reshipment cost.
  • If delivery is unsuccessful the customer may be responsible for any redelivery charges, should they arise.
  • Little Bird Told Me cannot be held accountable for failed deliveries resulting from an incorrect address entered at purchase.
  • If your package is returned to sender, please contact us and we’ll be happy to issue a credit for the value paid, minus any shipping fees.
  • Any delivery addresses received incomplete or that require changing on an order will delay the dispatch and delivery time.
  • If you’ve provided us with the wrong address:
  • Please get in touch with us straight away and mark your message as urgent. There’s only a short window between placing your order and it being sent out, so while we can’t guarantee changes, we’ll do our very best to update your address before your order is on its way.
  • If you have received a tracking number already, we recommend giving your courier a call and asking them to redirect your order.

Cancelling Your Order

  • You may cancel before your order is despatched or within 14 days of receiving your goods.
  • If cancelled before dispatch: full refund.
  • If cancelled after dispatch: refund of goods (excluding shipping) once returned in original condition.
  • Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty.
  • Contact us for a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) before returning.
  • Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving returns.

Returns

  • You have 30 days to return items you’re not happy with.
  • Goods must be unused and in original packaging.
  • We request that you use a tracked postal service as we can’t take responsibility for any parcels lost in transit.
  • Be sure to hold on to your proof of postage until your refund has been processed – without it, we can’t guarantee a refund.
  • We’re only able to process refunds to the original payment method, and unfortunately, we’re not able to offer exchanges.
  • If you’d like to exchange something, please follow our simple returns process and then separately place a new order.
  • Refunds issued within 7 days after inspection.

Faulty Items

  • If you believe your product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.
  • Within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund for faulty goods.
  • After this period, under UK consumer law and according to the product’s warranty timeframe, we will offer a repair or replacement free of charge, where appropriate.
  • Please note, this policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

International Orders – Duties & Taxes

  • Unless otherwise stated, you are responsible for import duties, taxes, or customs fees.
  • Please ensure your goods comply with local import regulations.
